Soprano Laser Hair Removal

The easier way to painless hair removal smooth skin with permanent results.

Snapping your skin with an elastic band or a bee sting would not make our list of favourite things, yet that is what we have been asked to endure in the past with laser hair removal. Anyone who has experienced waxing, laser or IPL will tell you about the "ow" factor.

Now, all of that is about to change with the introduction of 'The Soprano Laser', at Tenterden Laser clinic. This revolutionary new technology virtually eliminates all negative sensations with a special system that cools your skin on contact. This cooling, not only makes the treatment more comfortable and gentle it, makes it more effective. The Soprano is FDA approved and is proven to treat all skin types of any colour, excluding recently chemically or naturally tanned skin. This reduces the risks associated with both IPL and lasers potentially burning darker skins.

With any permanent hair reduction programme, you invariably need a course of at least 6 treatments, 4 to 6 weeks apart for your face or 6-8 weeks apart for your body. However, with the Soprano, treatment times can be reduced significantly as areas are covered more thoroughly. No wonder the Soprano is hitting all the right notes with our discerning clientele.

All Laser Hair Removal treatments require a consultation and test patch to be carried out at least 24 hours prior to commencing treatment. This still applies if you have had the treatment elsewhere.

PLEASE NOTE:

Tenterden Aesthetic and Laser Clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission, a governing body responsible for monitoring independent hospitals and clinics in the UK. The light produced by the laser is in the infrared end of the light spectrum as opposed to ultraviolet. This type of light is non-carcinogenic (non-cancer causing). Lasers have been used in the medical profession for over 10 years and no long-term side effects have been reported.

Laser Hair Removal

Photoepilation, or 'hair removal using light,' has gained dramatic popularity over the past several years. Excellent clinical results, as well as low-risk success for many practices have contributed greatly to the sensation of this amazing procedure.

While many methods can eliminate unwanted hair, very few can eliminate hair regrowth while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. And photoepilation is quickly becoming the most popular.

Lasers and light sources use the principle of selective photothermolysis to eliminate hair and its potential regrowth without damaging the surrounding skin. During a treatment, light passes through the skin and is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft. This absorption raises the temperature of the hair follicle and thermally destroys the cells responsible for regrowth. The attributes of the light (wavelength, pulse duration and power) are chosen to ensure damage to the adjacent cells
